Pavloudi Alexandra

Alexandra Pavloudi is an Associate Professor, specializing on the subject of “Economics of Agricultural Production,” in the Department of Agriculture at the International University of Greece, which is located in the Alexandria Campus in Sindos. Dr. Pavloudi holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the Department of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At the undergraduate level, she studied in the Department of Agriculture at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, focusing on Agricultural Economics. In her current role, she teaches the following courses: Agricultural Accounting, Costing of Agricultural Products, Agricultural Valuation, Organization and Management of Agricultural Holdings in the undergraduate curriculum, and the courses Agricultural Business Accounting, Financial Management and Agricultural Investments, Household Savings and Recycling in the postgraduate curriculum. She has also taught the courses, Agricultural Development (Applications) – Agricultural Policy and Marketing of Agricultural Products and Agricultural Valuation in the Department of Agriculture, Plant Production & Rural Environment at the University of Thessaly.
Her research interests focus on the economics of agricultural production, agricultural management, decision-making methods in agriculture, agricultural investment evaluation, agricultural product marketing and agricultural policy. Her scholarship includes more than 60 publications in the above research areas. She has also participated in and coordinated research projects which investigate the economics of agricultural-production activities and the design of strategic plans that aim to further develop such activities.
