The farm of the Department is located on the south-eastern side of the Foundation and borders to the north with the farm of the healing community “ITHAKI”, to the east with the right embankment of the Gallikos River and to the south with the Thessaloniki-Athens National Road. It covers a total area of approximately 1,200 acres, including the various building facilities.
The farm’s infrastructure and resources available for research and education are as follows:
Crops
- Large crop (850 sq.m.).
- Orchards (40 sq.m.).
- Olive groves (25 sq.m.).
- Vineyard (8 acres).
Greenhouses
- A glass-enclosed greenhouse with a total area of 5 acres.
- A 1 hectare plastic covered greenhouse.

Irrigation network
It has a permanently installed underground irrigation network that serves the irrigation needs of 400 acres.
