Kyritsi Stavroula

Dr Stavroula Kyritsi, Assistant professor (2023- current) at the Division of Animal Science of the Department of Agriculture, School of Geotechnical Sciences, of International Hellenic University (IHU), Thessaloniki, Greece, and an expert in Animal husbandry – Ichthyology. She holds degree in Forestry and Natural Environment (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and degree in Animal Sciences (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Faculty of Agriculture, Division of Animal Production. Also she holds a Master’s degree in Animal Production (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Animal Production) and a PhD in Fish Ecology in Lake Ecosystems (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), School of Forestry and Natural Environment (2008). Furthermore, Dr. Kyritsi worked 11 years as a Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Technology, Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki as well as for 5 years as a Lecturer at the Department of Agriculture, School of Geotechnical Sciences, International University of Greece. She participated as a coordinator in 2 research projects funded by Region of Central Macedonia and the Research Committee of I.H.U., and in 10 Research projects as a partner. Dr. Kyritsi has published 8 abstracts in international and national conferences. She was member of the scientific committee and of the organizing committee in 4 conferences. Dr. Kyritsi has 10 publications in international scientific journals. She is a member of 3 scientific associations. Her research interests include, among others: Animal Husbandry, Animal Management, Fish Biology, Fish Ecology, Aquatic Ecosystem Ecology, Fisheries Management of Fish Stocks.
